CRITERIA
STUDENT MEMBER OF THE YEAR
For exceptional contribution.
May be bestowed annually to only one (1) student member.
Qualifications
-
Student member at time of nomination.
-
Enrolled as full-time Bachelor, Master or Doctoral student in TR-related program at accredited college or university.
-
Resident of Washington State or
attending a TR-related educational program at a Washington State college or
university.
-
>2.5/4.0 overall GPA.
-
>3.0/4.0 GPA in all TR-related course work.
-
During preceding year, contributed to
TR-related educational program and/or the college/university in one (1) of following:
-
Actively participated in one or more school TR-related organizations
at the college/university.
-
Demonstrated leadership in the TR-related
educational program and/or college/university.
-
Assisted implementation or improvement of TR-related educational program, instructional material or curriculum in
a college, university, experiential, field, workshop, conference or
computer-based setting.
-
Other exemplary contributions to TR-related
educational program and/or college/university.
-
During preceding year, contributed to WSTRA and/or
ATRA in one (1) of following:

Active committee member, committee chair or student
liaison.

Supported or promoted local, state or
national public policy as supported by WSTRA.

Addressed one or more groups, not solely comprised of classmates, in person, on radio or TV
regarding WSTRA and/or ATRA.

Recognized contributor, author or
co-author of an article related to WSTRA and/or ATRA published in a
college/university, WSTRA, WRPA, ATRA, NTRS, NCTRCÒ
or a related organization's publication.

Assisted in, co-authored or authored
a booklet, pamphlet, brochure, or audiovisual, computer-based or Internet
material related to WSTRA and/or ATRA.

Assisted editing, co-edited or edited
a publication related to WSTRA, ATRA or TR.

in WSTRA and/or ATRA.
